Learn.
Improve.
Thrive.
As a taxpayer, I want someone on the board that I can trust.
As an aunt, I need someone on the board that truly understands and values education and state policy.
As an educator, I desire transparency and stability for all students, school personnel, and families.

We have a lot of problems to solve in Hancock County Schools, and they are not all financial. HCS needs to use evidence-based practices, encourage and support teachers, and meet the needs of all students. It is vital that every policy and procedure is aligned with state code, which is the law that governs WV schools. Efficiency and effectiveness must be considered while a concerted effort must be made to improve morale, promote unity, and build positive culture.
My motto is
Learn. Improve. Thrive.Fortunately, HCS has great people who can help with that.
